I read an article last week while I was on the boat from Orkney to Shetland that stated that the Isles of Scilly are the employment capital of the UK. So, now I’m home I’ve looked it up on the internet so you can read the article too 🙂
Perhaps the most interesting thing, though, is that when I searched for the article, the second search result was for a separate news story from 2008 about how the “poorest people” in the UK live in the Isles of Scilly.
Now, I wonder if there is a link?
